MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF LEVERTON PARISH COUNCIL HELD IN LEVERTON VILLAGE HALL ON
MONDAY 8th MARCH 2021

One member of the public was present.
21/01 Apologies
There were no apologies as all councillors were in attendance.
21/02 Police Matters
The following incidents details were received by the Clerk from PCSO Kym Rayment:
1 incident of Anti-Social behavior – Laceys Avenue
21/03 To receive any declarations of interest in accordance with the requirements of the Localism Act 2011 – being any pecuniary or non-pecuniary interests on agenda items not previously recorded on Members Register of Interests.
There were no declarations received.
21/04 Approval of the minutes of the previous meeting
It was proposed and accepted that the notes of the meeting held 7th December 2020 be approved as a correct record of the meeting and be signed by the Chairman
21/05 Reports from Lincolnshire County Council/Boston Borough Council
Councillor P Bedford gave a verbal report to update council of matters at Boston Borough Council
21/06 Issues relating to the Playing Fields, Potholes and the Environment of the Parish
As Cllr Horwat was most knowledgeable regarding the playing field equipment it was proposed and agreed that he could contact Caloo to discuss the repair of the equipment. It was also discussed, proposed and agreed that the lawn mower be replaced and the quote received of £3550 delivered was accepted unanimously.
Cllr Self-Shutts raised the issue of the potholes on Oldfield Lane towards Saul’s farm and the deterioration of and speed of traffic on Highgate was also discussed. The clerk suggested an email be sent to the Lincolnshire County Councillor asking if a 40mph limit could be considered as there were residential buildings all along that stretch of road.
21/07 Finance
It was proposed and agreed to accept the payments as per the payment sheet 03/2021. Payments were as follows and included Grants approved at the precept setting in January 2020:

21/08 Matters for discussion only or to be added to the next agenda
There were no further items raised for discussion.
21/09 To resolve to move into closed session in accordance with the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960 due to the confidential nature of the business to be discussed.
It was proposed, seconded and RESOLVED to move into closed session and members of the public left the meeting.
The purpose of the closed session meeting was for the opportunity for all members of the Council to have a fully informed discussion regarding recent events which had taken place. At the end of the discussions a resignation was given to and accepted by the Chairman.
The Chairman reopened the meeting to the public.
21/10 Date and Time of the next Parish Council Meeting
The next Meeting of the Parish Council will be held on Monday 12th April 2021 beginning at 7.00pm. There being no further business to discuss, the Chairman thanked those in attendance and declared the meeting closed at 8.05 pm.
