MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF LEVERTON PARISH COUNCIL HELD IN LEVERTON VILLAGE HALL ON
MONDAY 12th APRIL 2021

One member of the public was present.
21/11 Apologies
There were no apologies as all councillors were in attendance.
21/12 Police Matters
PCSO Kym Rayment reported to the Clerk that there had been no incidents in the parish.
21/13 To receive any declarations of interest in accordance with the requirements of the Localism Act 2011
There were no declarations received.
21/14 Approval of the minutes of the previous meeting
It was proposed and accepted that the notes of the meeting held 8th March 2021 be approved as a correct record of the meeting and be signed by the Chairman.
21/15 Reports from Lincolnshire County Council/Boston Borough Council
Councillor P Skinner gave a verbal report to update council of matters at Boston Borough Council and Lincolnshire County Council.
21/16 Issues relating to the Playing Fields, Potholes and the Environment of the Parish
Potholes: It was reported that some patching of potholes had been competed around the parish and the clerk was asked by Cllr P Skinner to forward to him the 40mph limit on Highgate request so it could be looked into.
Environment: Mr Horwat asked if it was possible to apply to impose a 7.5 tonne restriction on Lacey’s Lane due to the unsuitability of the road for the size of the Heavy Goods Vehicles currently using the road. Mr Horwat had previously stated that the verges were being destroyed and that he had reported this on FixMyStreet.
Playing Fields: Mr Horwat gave a good review on the recently purchased mower and also stated that it would be necessary to obtain bark chippings for the play area prior to the inspection.
21/17 Finance
It was proposed and agreed to accept the payments as per the payment sheet 04/2021 details below:

21/18 Correspondence received.
The clerk reported to Council that she had received a resignation letter from Mr I Chandler.
The clerk also circulated a letter to the Monitoring Officer which had been drafted in response to an enquiry regarding the previous month’s closed session item. It was proposed and agreed to send the drafted response on behalf of the Council.
21/19 Matters for discussion only or to be added to the next agenda.
There were no further items raised for discussion.
21/20 Date and Time of the next Parish Council Meeting
The next Meeting of the Parish Council will be held on Monday 10th May 2021 beginning at 7.30pm. There being no further business to discuss, the Chairman thanked those in attendance and declared the meeting closed at 8.05 pm.
