MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF LEVERTON PARISH COUNCIL
HELD IN LEVERTON CHURCH HALL ON MONDAY 15 DECEMBER 2025

Public Forum
There were no members of the public in attendance.
25/90 Apologies
Apologies were received from Cllr N White, Cllr Arundell and Cllr P Bedford.
The chairman informed members of the resignation of Cllr Fiona Osborne
25/91 To receive any declarations of interest in accordance with the requirements of the Localism Act 2011
There were no declarations of interest given.
25/92 To receive and approve the notes of the Council meetings held on Monday 17 November 2025
It was RESOLVED that the notes of the meeting held 17 November 2025 be approved as a record of the meeting and be signed by the Chairman.
25/93 Reports from Lincolnshire County Council/Boston Borough Council
There were no reports received.
25/94 Issues relating to the Playing Fields, Potholes and the Environment of the Parish
Playing Fields
There were no major issues to report.
Potholes
The Chairman confirmed that Sue Durrant had reported most issues due to her involvement with the Boston Marathon.
Cllr Woodward reported the drain cover on the A52 at Dickinsons garage being a noise nuisance when vehicles travel over it. He was advised to report this on FixMyStreet.
The clerk reported a large pothole at the junction of Sheepgate and Highgate and stated she would check if there was a record on FixMyStreet.
Environment
Cllr Woodward reported a member of the parish had posted a message on Facebook regarding the stump of a lamppost which had been left in situ after a replacement had been sited. The clerk confirmed she would contact the relevant authority to request it be removed.
25/95 Provision of additional interactive speed signs
The clerk confirmed that she had received an email from Lincolnshire County Council confirming that they were looking to replace the outdated speed signage. She was in the process of arranging a consultation with the lighting engineer to discuss options and would report back to members in due course.
25/96 Clerks Report
The clerk confirmed that she had nothing to feed back on the issue of Highgate road surface.
25/97 Finance
It was proposed and RESOLVED to accept the payments as per the payment sheet 12/2025 details below:
December Payments
19/12/2025 Staff Costs £673.95
25/98 Matters for discussion only or to be added to the next agenda.
The clerk confirmed that the Precept for the 2026/27 financial year needed to be requested in January.
25/99 Date of the next Parish Council Meeting
Date of the next Meeting of the Parish Council will be held on Monday 19 January 2026. There being no further business to discuss, the Chairman thanked those in attendance and declared the meeting closed.
