LEVERTON PARISH COUNCIL
MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF LEVERTON PARISH COUNCIL HELD IN LEVERTON VILLAGE HALL ON MONDAY 16 JANUARY 2023
Present:

Public Forum
There were no members of the public in attendance.
23/01 Apologies
Cllr Nigel Chandler and Cllr Peter Bedford had given apologies prior to the meeting.
23/02 To receive any declarations of interest in accordance with the requirements of the Localism Act 2011
There were no declarations received.
23/03 Approval of the minutes of the previous meeting
It was RESOLVED that the notes of the meeting held 19 December 2022 be approved as a correct record of the meeting and be signed by the Chairman.
23/04 Reports from Lincolnshire County Council/Boston Borough Council
Cllr P Skinner gave a verbal report on behalf of Boston Borough Council and Lincolnshire County Council.
23/05 Issues relating to the Playing Fields, Potholes and the Environment of the Parish
Playing Fields
Cllr Horwat confirmed that there were no issues to report due to the time of year. It was agreed that the sapling which was to be planted in memory of Jane Moore be potted on and left to gain further substantial growth before planting in the playing fields to avoid it incurring damage.
Potholes
It was reported that unfortunately some of the recent repairs to potholes along Highgate were breaking down.
Environment
There was nothing to report at the present time.
23/06 Refurbishment of the Church Hall
The clerk confirmed that there was nothing further to report at the present time.
23/07 Village Gateway Signs
The clerk confirmed that there was nothing further to report at the present time.
23/08 Precept
The clerk presented the budget for the FY 2023/24. The members of the Council discussed the budget and it was RESOLVED that the Precept would remain at £15,000.
23/08 Finance
It was RESOLVED to accept the payments as per the payment sheet 01/2023, details below:
Staff costs Salaries/HMRC/Expenses £569.52
23/09 Matters for discussion only or to be added to the next agenda.
There were no matters.
23/10 Date and Time of the next Parish Council Meeting
The next Parish Council Meeting will be held on Monday 20 February 2023 beginning at 7.00pm, at The Church Hall, Main Road A52, Leverton. There being no further business to discuss, the Chairman thanked those in attendance and declared the meeting closed at 7.50pm.
