MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF LEVERTON PARISH COUNCIL HELD IN LEVERTON VILLAGE HALL ON MONDAY 17 APRIL 2023

Public Forum
There were no members of the public present.
23/31 Apologies
There were no apologies received.
23/32 To receive any declarations of interest in accordance with the requirements of the Localism Act 2011
There were no declarations received.
23/33 Approval of the minutes of the previous meeting
It was RESOLVED that the notes of the meeting held 20 March 2023 be approved as a correct record of the meeting and be signed by the Chairman.
23/34 Reports from Lincolnshire County Council/Boston Borough Council
There were no reports due to local councils being under a period of purdah.
23/35 Issues relating to the Playing Fields, Potholes and the Environment of the Parish
Playing Fields
Cllr Horwat suggested that as the old lawn mower had been replaced and was no longer in use on the playing fields, would the remaining members of the Council consider donating it to the Witham Country Park. Members of the Council discussed this and the majority agreed to donate it.
Cllr Horwat also stated that further shrubs had been donated and had been planted at the bottom of the playing fields.
Cllr Osborne confirmed that she had been in discussions with the other Trustees of the Leverton Poor’s Land Trust and it had been agreed to alter the suggested name from ‘Jane Moore Park’ to ‘Jane Moore Playing Fields’
Potholes
The Chairman stated that there were still a substantial number of potholes in the parish that had not been repaired.
Environment
Cllr White reported that there had been a few issues with motorbikes along the footpaths on the banks.
23/36 Refurbishment of the Church Hall
The clerk confirmed she would contact the Church Warden to ask how plans were moving forward in respect of replacing the Church Hall roof as the repainting could not be completed until this had been done.
23/37 Finance

23/39 Date and Time of the next Parish Council Meeting
The next Parish Council Meeting will be held on Monday 22 May 2023 beginning at 7.00pm, at The Church Hall, Main Road A52, Leverton. There being no further business to discuss, the Chairman thanked those in attendance and declared the meeting closed.
